This is the village of Los Cobanos, El Salvador. Its one hundred residents live with the sea at their doorstep. With a country in turmoil at their backs, fishing defines and sustains life.

Los Cobanos, El Salvador is a small fishing village on the Pacific Ocean. I spent nine days at Los Cobanos Village Lodge in 2005. I'll be returning this month to reconnect with my friends.
